ITINERARY | Places to visit
Day 1: Arusha Town – Manyara National Park game drive
Pick up from Arusha town and depart to Manyara National Park arriving for lunch at the lodge. Afterwards proceed for an afternoon game drive at Manyara National Park. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others. Late afternoon drive to the lodge for dinner & overnight at Manyara Wildlife Lodge (LDBB)
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area likely the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Arrival at the lodge for lunch. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (LDBB)
Optional Tour: Maasai village visit to learn about the Maasai ways of life.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Full Day Crater Tour
After Breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (with picnic lunch) into the Ngorongoro Crater for a Full Day game drive inside the crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, to name a few. Lunch at the picnic site beside the lake. Late afternoon ascend the crater to your lodge for overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (LDBB)
Day 4: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, checkout and drive to Tarangire National Park arriving for lunch at the lodge. Afterwards proceed for an afternoon game drive at Tarangire National Park. Drive back to Camp for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge (LDBB)
Day 5: Transfer to Arusha | Lunch | Drop off.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch at The Arusha Coffee Lodge. After lunch transfer to Arusha town for drop off.
