This 3 days northern circuit safari covers safari game drives to Lake Manyara Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire of Northern Tanzania, furthermore you will have lots of opportunities to meet with local communities. This off the beaten track itinerary will ensure that you get away from the tourist comfort zone, and experience the African bush from the comfort of a classic lodges/ Adventure Camps.
ITINERARY | Places to visit
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Early morning pick up from Arusha town and drive to Tarangire National Park arriving for lunch at the Camp. Afterwards proceed for an afternoon game drive at Tarangire National Park. Drive back to Camp for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge (LDBB)
Day 2: Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart to the Manyara National Park arriving for lunch at the lodge. Afterwards proceed for an afternoon game drive at Manyara National Park. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others. Late afternoon drive to the lodge for dinner & overnight at Manyara Wildlife Lodge (L-DBB)
Optional Tour: Maasai village visit to learn about the Maasai ways of life.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After Breakfast, Drive (with picnic lunch) into the Ngorongoro Crater for a Full Day game drive inside the crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, to name a few. Lunch at the picnic site beside the lake. Late afternoon ascend the crater to your lodge for overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (LDBB)
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha | Lunch | Drop off.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch at The Arusha Coffee Lodge. After lunch transfer to Arusha town for drop off.
