ITINERARY | Places to visit

Day 1: Arrival | Manyara National Park
Pick up from Arusha town hotel and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others. Enjoy lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive at Manyara National Park. Drive to the Lodge for dinner & overnight at Burudika Manyara Lodge (LDBB)

Day 2: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Pick up from Arusha town and drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop enroute at the view point of Lake Manyara on top of the escarpment and later continue to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (LDBB)

Day 3: Full Day – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After early breakfast, drive (with picnic lunch) towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a Full Day game drive inside the crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, to name a few. Your Driver/Guide will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Picnic lunch at the site beside the lake. Late afternoon ascend the crater and drive to your lodge for overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (LDBB).

 Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Central Serengeti National Park. The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of over 14,763 square kilometers and during the months of the migration, is the habitat of huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle with estimates of up to 1.5 million. The Serengeti “Kopjes” (massive boulder islands of granite), standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik dik. Dinner & overnight Serengeti Osupuko Camp (LDBB)

Optional Tour:  Maasai village visit to learn about the Maasai ways of life.

Day 5: Full Day – Serengeti National Park

A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds. Overnight at Serengeti Osupuko Camp (LDBB)

Day 6: Tarangire National Park

After early breakfast check out from Serengeti National Park and depart with picnic lunch for Tarangire National Park. The park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, others Afternoon game drive at Tarangire National Park. Lunch at a picnic site. Evening drive to the lodge for dinner & overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge (LDBB)

 Day 7: Departure
After early breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch at The Arusha Coffee Lodge restaurant. After lunch transfer to the Arusha town OR Airport
