3 Days Tanzania Camping Safari to Ngorongoro Crater
Camping in the bush of Tanzania is the quintessential private African safari experience. Just a piece of canvas between you and the African night. A quire of nocturnal birds, insects and distant roaring lions lullabies you to sleep. Sitting around an open camp fire with the southern skies bright over head is the real way of appreciating Africa’s magic. There are campsites everywhere and camping facilitates in all our safari itineraries, to any park or wilderness area in Tanzania.

ITINERARY | Places to visit
Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning pick up from Arusha town (with picnic lunch) and drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area (the 8th wonder of the world) likely the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Arrival for Half Day Ngorongoro game drive on the crater floor. Late afternoon drive to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Farm House (L-DBB)
Optional Tour: Maasai village visit to learn about the Maasai ways of life.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After Breakfast, Drive (with picnic lunch) into the Ngorongoro Crater for a Full Day game drive inside the crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, to name a few. Lunch at the picnic site beside the lake. Late afternoon ascend the crater to your lodge for overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House (LDBB)
Day 3: Transfer to Arusha | Lunch | Drop off.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch at The River House. After lunch transfer to Arusha town for drop off.
